Avantea Foundation was established in March 2010 by prof Cesare Galli and dr Giovanna Lazzari thanks to the donation obtained in association with the international recognition Simmet Prize for Assisted Reproduction, received by prof. Galli in 2008, reporting the following reason: originality of the research (a pioneer in the field of animal reproduction, development of new technologies, contributing to the development industry), experimental approach (new experimental methods, sharing with the scientific community) and leadership (recognized innovator and scholar from peers, servant of the scientific community, willingness to share his findings with others).
